Tigers 0-6

I am officially in a deep, deep, deep depression. I am an emotional eater. If you notice me gaining weight, please remove the ice cream from the freezer.

When it was 0-3 I thought it was bad. Well, what was bad has quickly become worse! What happened to our "Monster Line-up"? It was supposed to be intimidating, they were supposed to be hammering everything, instead they can't get the bat on the ball! I thought pitching was going to be our downfall, especially with Rodney and Zumaya out for who knows how long! The pitching has been ok, sure there have been some rough spots, but without the offense giving them some help there is only so much they can do! Tomorrow...Boston. Hopefully getting away from home will bring a change other than scenery.

Not that any of you are interested in these ramblings, but I had to vent! Jonathon just laughs at me because we have a baseball war going on with the neighbors, damn Yankee fans! He tells me it's my turn to eat crow. The damn Yankee fans are texting me all the time, surely if they were 0-6 I wouldn't be rubbing it in your face! I would be kind and compassionate. I might even bring you dinner, with lots of ice cream for dessert.

Cammee, your blog doesn't like me today! I've tried twice to leave a comment. I said, athletics is bred deep in our bones, and I totally get the ice cream thing. Not quite the same, but, Fri. night, Andy & Mark, softball tourney. Game called early because they were so FAR BEHIND! Dejected walk, shoulders slumped as tho going to the gallows. My solution? BANANA SPLITS!

I wondered how you were taking it. Briggs has came in the last three days to tell me the score of the white sox games. He was so excited! So when I asked who they were playing and he said the tigers, I immediately knew your sorrow! Cheer up, surely things will get better! If not, you can still be glad that you don't have a red sox and a yankee fan in the same household. It makes baseball season miserable!

Okay, I get the whole ice cream thing. But, the baseball thing . . . (and I know, coming from the Dean's, I'm probably not allowed to admit this) . . . just not getting it. I know . . . sad!

By the way, loved reading about your St. George trip . . . looked like sooo much fun!

Oh, and also, we are NOT going to talk about Emily's birthday cake. Let's just leave the Cammee Cakes to you! No pics to even show you! :)
