The end, or the beginning?

It's over.

I love having my kids home for the summer. I love having the freedom to go play and do whatever we want. I'm always sad on the first day of school. I am looking forward to a routine and having a schedule again, we function better that way, but I still am not used to having my kids gone for 6 hours a day. You'd think after 9 years I'd be used to it, bit it still doesn't seem right. I love watching the growth that happens in that school year, I love watching them learn, but I'm selfish and want them with me!

For those of you that know me well, you can see that I had no influence on Bridger's first day outfit. I had to close my eyes and just pretend he was going to practice. I lost all control of Halley's clothing choices last year. At least I made it 2 years longer than I did with Bridge!

I found a pattern online and Halley decided she wanted me to make her school bag. She chose darling fabric and my inner Martha came out!

It must totally run in our blood! I feel the same way about school. I am not happy to hear that it doesn't get any better.

And ok! I so want the pattern! That bag is darling! Was it easy?

I couldn't agree with you more. I love having my kids home with me, but I always look forward to the schedule. Hallie and Bridger are so grown up. I remember when they were really small when I was in your ward. And, go Martha. That bag is so cute. I would like one in pink or red. So get busy.

Yes they are! That's because great minds think alike right? Your bag turned out darling. And what's this about that inner martha? If anyone is as well rounded as martha on a day to day basis, it would definately be you! It's a good think martha doesn't know about you, because she wouldn't like the competition!!!

I'll bet Martha learned to make her bag while she was in prison. Is that where you learned too?

The bad is adorable!! I love that fabric. How fun!!

I need to see this Brian Regan that Bridger can do. Tell him he did not do the baseball one, but that it was really good. Most of the stuff he did was new and we are counting down till the 9th when his new DVD comes out. We have already pre-ordered it and can't wait!!

I love that you're a poison fan too! I am in love with Bret! This will be the 3rd poison concert I've been to. I talked to him both times and almost touched him last time!(too short) I've seen cinderell twice, def Leppard twice, Bon Jovi,Van Halen, and Aerosmith! And yes I do have a thong that says "poison Partied Here" I think I was in highschool at the wrong time. My mom says she is so greatful because she would have lost me to the dark side! LOL!
