I live with a romantic. It's true.
He asked me on a date, which is nothing new, we go on one every week. But this one was different.
Me: Where should we go?
My Romantic: Let's just stay home this time. We will need candles and food. And you should wear a bow in your hair.
We had our date at lunchtime today. He insisted we close all the blinds so it was dark. Then we had leftover homemade chicken noodle soup--by candlelight. We also pretended we came in a long, long car.
Me: Thank you for bringing me on this date.
My Romantic: My pleasure.
Seriously. I swear. My 3 year old said, "my pleasure". It took everything I had to hold those giggles in.
After our dinner, my date even helped me scrub the bathroom. He told me he would do it for me because he's a man. It might be the best date I've ever had.
Jonathon, you have SERIOUS competition.

Oh that is the sweetest thing ever! Seriously, what a cute little boy you have. That is such a precious story. I like how you didn't say it was Gage until the end. I thought your husband was a little goofy until the end! LOL!
oh my holy cuteness. that is adorable.
Ha ha! I didn't get it until the very end and I was wondering what was up with Jonathon that he was so cheap he made you eat leftovers for your date! Gage is such a cutie!
Seriously! Too cute! He must have a great mom to teach him how to be such a great man!!!
I love this! He is darling! But you better watch out.....You will be having the neighborhood girls knocking down your door!
That is so dang cute! He is going to be a heartbreaker! I am excited for the cook book. I think I am going to want atleast 5 but I will let you know for sure. Thanks for all your hard work on them!
You had me going for a minute- what a doll! I have a slightly romantic 5 year old who says he's going to marry ME when he grows up! They are so funny!
cute.... what a stud. He is going to be a ladies man. Just to make you jealous.... for my anniversary we went to Los Lupes to bring back the memories:) It was delicious!
I saw your sweet kids at Grandma's yesterday when they were with Grandpa Steve getting pumpkins. He told them to stay in the kitchen because of muddy feet, then went outside for a minute. I told them to go in the living room and say Hi to Grandma. Steve comes in and says "I thought I told you to stay in the kitchen -" Kass says, "But Aunt Lynnie says she's your big sister and you still have to mind her, and she told us to come in here, so we have to mind her too!" I LOVED it!! Mom absolutely lit up with them coming to visit her. I reminded her of Grandpa Owen calling Bridger "Badger" and she remembered :)
