This is my all time favorite tradition. It is a Halley family tradition for almost 60 years (thanks Grandma and Grandpa!). It feels like coming home each year we arrive. I am so thankful for this beautiful place and my beautiful family. We missed everyone who couldn't be there this year...especially Jason.

Okay so Cody is so bummed that we didn't go to spirit lake this year...I am thinking that it is going to have to be a yearly thing...we tried every other, since I have a reunion that same weekend, but we are going to have to work something out...Cody went through withdrawals!

I had to laugh at your comment, I said the same thing about Brooks on Sunday to Riley. I said, "Wow he's gotten so big." He is a cutie too!
