Yeah!! For my birthday, my sweet husband gave me a new bedroom set! We have had a log-pole bedroom set since we got married 15 years ago. I was soooo, way over that! So we ordered the furniture, waited two weeks for it to get here, and the day it got here I made up my mind that, yes, I did want to paint the walls. (I'm so backwards sometimes). A smart person would have painted and then put the new furniture in the room. But I'm all about instant gratification, so we put the furniture in the room so I could see it, then the next morning I pulled it all out and started painting! I never do anything the easy way. So, check out the lamps---for once in my life my procrastination paid off. I had been eyeing these at Target's Global Bazaar, $100 each. In their normal lamp section they had a cheaper lamp that I was trying to talk myself into, so I waited. On last Tuesday I went back over and decided I was going to get the ones I liked. They only had the 2 left. I went to check out and the lamps rang up for $9.99 a piece!! Holy crap! I got them both for $19.98! That NEVER, I repeat NEVER, happens to me. Apparently it was close-out day for all the Global Bazaar stuff. So I no longer have Flintstone furniture! I still need to get stuff up on the walls, but I am now sleeping in the year 2008.

The new furniture is beautiful! I totally remember the log bed. I remember hanging flowers on it with you. I can't believe it has been 15 years! Congrats on the Target find! They are beautiful!
